Plain-language rules for using South Bay Scene (this site and the app at app.scenecircuit.com). By using them you agree to these terms.
Listings are a guide, not a guarantee
We research events, happy hours and venues from public sources and link to them where we can, but details change. Always check with the venue or official source before you go. We aren't responsible for changes, cancellations, prices or what happens at a venue.
Drink responsibly
Many listings are bars and 21+ events. Follow the law, don't drink and drive.
What you post
- Only post things you have the right to share, like your own photos and your own words.
- No spam, hate, harassment, personal info about other people, or illegal content.
- You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to show it in the app, on the site and on our social channels, with the credit you provided.
- We review submissions and can edit for length or clarity, decline, or remove anything at our discretion. Some Local Secrets may be shown only to members.
Venue owners
If you manage a listed venue, you can ask us to correct or update your listing through the app or by email.
Our content
Our write-ups, design and logo belong to South Bay Scene. Third-party photos are credited to their creators under their licenses (see photo credits). Trademarks belong to their owners.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in links private. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
The service
It's provided as is, and it may change or go offline. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using it.
